Jingyago Wang, 19, was crowned Miss China in June.
She earned the right to participate in the Miss Universe pageant on Aug. 23.
Jingyao did not finish in the Top 15, but was honored by the contestants from the other 83 participating countries with the Miss Congeniality award.

This year’s Miss Lebanon is Martine Andrawos. She was a model of grace at the Miss Universepageant and we look forward to her doing well in the Miss World competition.
Lebanon treats its pageant royalty well.
The winner receives more than $500,000 and can not only compete in the Miss Universe pageant, but the Miss World pageant.

When all had signed up for this year’s Miss Universe pageant, only two Arab nations had sent contestants – Egypt and Lebanon.
Elham Wagdi represented Egypt and Martine Andraos represented Lebanon.
We hope to see more Arab women in future pageants. They are both beautiful and intelligent.
